Overview
These terms apply to orders, purchases, website use, contact requests, and flavor-list signups for Going Out The Dough. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Florida cottage food notice
Going Out The Dough bakes in Florida as a cottage food operation. Florida law allows qualifying cottage food operators to produce approved foods, including cookies, in an unlicensed home kitchen without a food permit from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services when the operation follows the cottage food requirements and annual gross sales do not exceed $250,000.
Cottage food products are direct-to-consumer products and are not sold wholesale. Product labels should include the required cottage food, ingredient, net weight, operation, and allergen information. Florida requires this statement on cottage food labels: Made in a cottage food operation that is not subject to Florida's food safety regulations.

Orders and checkout
Product availability, pricing, shipping, and menu options may change. Checkout is handled through Stripe. Orders are not final until payment is successfully completed. Stripe may collect shipping details, payment details, and tax information needed to complete checkout.
Shipping and timing
Cookies are baked to order and generally ship in 2-3 business days. Shipping is currently U.S. only with the flat-rate shipping shown at checkout. Delivery timelines can vary once a package is with the carrier.
Allergens and ingredients
Cookies are homemade in a kitchen that may handle wheat, milk, eggs, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts. Customers with allergies or sensitivities should contact Sarah before ordering. Ingredient and allergen information should be reviewed before eating.
Cancellations, refunds, and order issues
Because cookies are baked to order, cancellation requests should be sent as quickly as possible. Once baking, packing, or shipping has started, cancellation may not be available. If an order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, contact bakemyday.2@yahoo.com with the order details so the issue can be reviewed.
Marketing emails
Customer emails provided through checkout, contact forms, or flavor-list signup may be used for occasional updates about new flavors, limited creations, and discounts. You may opt out of marketing messages at any time by contacting bakemyday.2@yahoo.com. Order-related messages may still be sent when needed.
Site content
Photos, product descriptions, prices, and availability are provided for general shopping information. The site should not be used as medical, legal, tax, or food safety advice. Product photos are representative and may vary slightly from batch to batch because the cookies are handmade.
