Overview

Going Out The Dough collects only the information needed to answer messages, manage first-bake signups, remember customer cookie interests, process cookie orders, and share flavor updates or discounts with customers who provide an email address.

Information collected

Information may include your name, email address, optional phone number, Florida shipping details, preferred box size, box notes, event details, contact form messages, flavor-list signup details, and basic technical information needed to run the website. Online card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Going Out The Dough.

How information is used

Customer information is used to respond to questions, process cookie orders, follow up about custom box ideas, improve the menu, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, and keep a customer list for future flavor announcements.

Flavor updates and marketing emails

If you provide your email through a contact form, first-bake signup, flavor-list signup, or promotional opt-in during Stripe Checkout, Going Out The Dough may send occasional emails about new flavors, limited creations, seasonal cookies, and discounts. You can opt out at any time by replying with an unsubscribe note or contacting bakemyday.2@yahoo.com. Order-related messages may still be sent when needed to support a purchase.

Cookies, storage, and tracking

The site currently uses browser storage to remember cart contents on your device. Going Out The Dough does not currently run an affiliate program or use specialized advertising cookies. If analytics, advertising, or affiliate tools are added later, this policy should be updated before those tools are used.

Sharing information

Information may be shared with service providers that help operate the site, store first-bake signups, host the website, send business emails, process Stripe checkout, calculate tax when required, support Florida shipping or delivery, or maintain business records. Information may also be shared when required by law, tax rules, fraud prevention, or safety concerns.

Retention and choices

Customer messages, signup records, and order records may be kept as long as needed for business, legal, customer support, tax, and safety purposes. Children

The site is intended for customers who can communicate with a small business with permission from a parent or guardian when needed. Going Out The Dough does not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing purposes.
