Overview

Going Out The Dough collects only the information needed to answer messages, prepare cookie orders, support checkout, ship orders, and share flavor updates or discounts with customers who provide an email address.

Information collected

Information may include your name, email address, phone number, shipping details, order selections, order notes, contact form messages, flavor-list signup details, and basic technical information needed to run the website. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Going Out The Dough.

How information is used

Customer information is used to process orders, communicate about purchases, respond to questions, manage customer support, improve the menu, prevent fraud or abuse, meet tax or legal obligations, and keep a customer list for future flavor announcements.

Flavor updates and marketing emails

If you provide your email through a purchase, contact request, or flavor-list signup, Going Out The Dough may send occasional emails about new flavors, limited creations, seasonal cookies, and discounts. You can opt out at any time by replying with an unsubscribe request or contacting bakemyday.2@yahoo.com. Transactional order messages may still be sent when needed to complete or support an order.

Cookies, storage, and tracking

The site currently uses browser storage to remember cart contents on your device. Going Out The Dough does not currently run an affiliate program or use specialized advertising cookies. If analytics, advertising, or affiliate tools are added later, this policy should be updated before those tools are used.

Sharing information

Information may be shared with service providers that help operate the site, process checkout, collect payments, calculate tax, ship orders, host the website, or maintain business records. Retention and choices

Order and customer records may be kept as long as needed for business, tax, legal, customer support, and safety purposes. The site is intended for customers who can make purchases with permission to use the selected payment method. Going Out The Dough does not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing purposes.
